What made the kids cut their nap short and be willing to travel an hour on the train dressed in their swimsuits? Well, it's Sentosa FunFest 2019 which features the kawaii Sanrio characters - Hello Kitty, My Melody, Gudetama - and larger-than-life inflatables that promise a fun day and adrenaline rush for both kids and adults!
Some of the obstacles can be quite slippery and the slides can be surprisingly steep and fast! Kids over 90cm tall are allowed to play but require adult supervision if they are under 1.2m. So bring along your swimwear, let your hair down, soak in the foam and get ready to splash it out with your little ones this coming March holidays.
The Olympic Challenge, which features 25-metres of kid-friendly obstacles, is one of the highlights and our favourite this year. Even Asher managed to complete it too, with a little help from Jiejie and the kind staff. So, don't miss this challenging obstacle when you are there.
Oh, and don't miss taking insta-worthy pictures at the photo points with the adorable Sanrio characters scattered along Palawan Beach. We heard there are over 800 Gudetama floating inflatables, including this giant 3-metre tall egg yolk here. Fwah, so many!
The best part is admission is FREE! This event takes place from 16 to 24 Mar, 10am to 7pm, at Palawan Green. All locals and local residents can also enjoy free entry into Sentosa via the Sentosa Express and Sentosa Gateway (drive-in).
